Mountains are the best if you care about just grinding out pure Feather gain and hunger refills, especially since you can bypass the step loss from the lost footing event. But, I do like the random item gains from other areas. Even if I've gotten the same item a hundred times, I do still get excited every time I get a special item from wandering around. I would like to see some exploration exclusives, I think that could be cool.

^ spookytown is pretty great especially for items and steps!

my favorites atm I are candycorn chateau & tundra! the jack-o-lantern pick is free feathers, passageway/hall is free feathers/steps, and the tundra is great for getting a bunch of slushies :D

I am kinda mainly doing Spookytown now since what everyone says is true and it is just the most efficient... but when I have a lot of steps and don't wanna "waste" the step-gain opportunities, I switch over to Jungle or Grasslands for a bit! Jungle because I like to stock up on bananas (I like that they're alphabetically higher up in the inventory than the other foods so it's quicker to select them to feed my pets, lol), or Grasslands because I'm stocking up on mayo for..... unknown future mischief... >:3
It IS really funny to me though that looking for bananas a lot means that I also have a massive stockpile of red dragon hair,,, like it's actually one of my favorite hairs but I.. I didn't need THIS many it's okay you can stop now......
Oh also Mountains is usually where I explore first when I log on for the day to get that free hunger~
And then just like, Candycorn Chateau isn't one I necessarily explore very often anymore, but I think it's my *favorite* just in terms of the aesthetics and the flavor text!!
