Still, a lot of his old personality holds over even now - he's a curious, naive mind, always willing to help others. Because of this, he's often taken advantage of, and a lot of skeevy people tend to drift his way. Still, he tends towards optimism, thinking that even if someone has wronged him that they deserve a second chance.
